I went to Indonesia for teaching Japanese, but I felt I learned more about Indonesia from people I met in Indonesia through stay there. I would like to thank all the people in Indonesia who have been involved with me.
For future SEA-Teachers
SEA-Teacher Project can be exciting, but at the same time, it may also bring some anxiety. I was the same.
But, you are not alone, There are fellow students, as well as kind teachers and tutors. If you have any trouble or don't understand something, please cooperate with your fellow students or ask your supervisors or supporters!
On your days off, you will have opportunities to go sightseeing with your fellow students and tutors, so please relax and enjoy your holidays as well as your instruction.
Take care of yourself physically and mentally, and if you have any opportunities to get out and participate in events, you will expand your circle of new friends!
Some students may be shy and it may be difficult to build a good relationship with you at first, but by talking to them inside and outside of class, praising them when they do something good, and acting on your own initiative, I believe that your students will see this and it will be an opportunity for you to become closer!
I believe that the views and feelings that I was able to see and feel because of my participation in the program will be something that I will be able to use in my life in the future! Please be thankful for the people and opportunities you are involved with, work in your own unique colors, and have a wonderful experience (^ ^)
